Successful Live Recording completed for album A Screenshot of Now!

Very excited to share that my latest Lyricist and Producer project, took place this July, over three intense but glorious days, at the renowned Garsington Studios! A Screenshot of Now, part song cycle, part theatre, was created in collaboration with virtuoso Guitarist and Composer Giacomo Susani. We worked together through 2024, to create 14 musical pieces, 12 for countertenor and tenor, and 2 for reciting voice. Our songs were brought gloriously to life by both Giacomo’s extraordinary classical guitar technique and passion, and by the creative sublime vocals of our stellar cast of vocalists: Tim Mead, Alexander Chance and Daniel Norman. I recite two poems on the recording, accompanied by Giacomo’s dramatic score, fulfilling a long time artistic vision I’ve had.

We were very fortunate to win the musical heart of one of the best sound engineers and producers in the classical music industry, Philip Hobbs of Linn Records and Products. Under his masterful and nurturing helm, the recording days flew by smoothly, and we can’t wait to share our musical creation with you! A big thank you to the entire cast and team, as well as to our superb videographer and photographer Ben Tomlin.
